Ferlinghetti Forever

The great Lawrence Ferlinghetti, one of the sanest men on the planet, turned 90 years old yesterday. Co-founder and still owner of the fabulous CITY LIGHTS BOOKSTORE in San Francisco, founder of CITY LIGHTS publishers, poet ,WW II vet,friend and publisher of the BEATS,artist activist[how is it that he has never won a Pulitzer?} NATIONAL TREASURE, Yep, Ferlinghetti is all of these. And Still at it. Read him. Enjoy his works, from Coney Island to Americus,he is worth his weight in gold leaf. Happy Birthday to a citizen of the world...
